Rockwood Smoking Wood Chips

The chips vary in shape and size by species, but they're usually about 1" in length.  They're heat treated / kiln dried to stomp out any critters or mold.  

Chips are perfect for gas grills & smokers, or electric smokers--soak them in water and/or wrap them in foil.  Also, use chips when you want to impart as much smoke as you can on a fast sear over a charcoal fire (do not soak.)  For low and slow on a charcoal grill, best to use the chunks instead.  Check out our pairing chart--these are the ones the pros on the competition circuit use!
